This week in Stockholm, Mistra hosts the expert evaluation panel of the Mistra Future Fashion programme . Dorothy Maxwell, Stockholm Environment Institute and Sustainable Apparel Coalition are members of the panel. Mistra – the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research – launched the Mistra Future Fashion programme in 2011 with a budget of SEK 40 million. The purpose of the programme is to deliver knowledge and solutions that the Swedish fashion industry and its stakeholders can use to significantly improve the fashion sector’s environmental performance and strengthen its global competitiveness. This is the mid-term evaluation of this important programme for sustainable fashion.
