Background
As part of the Sensing Natural Capital project supported by National Australia Bank, a two-day workshop was held in Tasmania Australia on 11-12 February 2016, bringing together key stakeholders and experts to map out the requirements for a set of guidance about the collection, processing and presentation of environmental data which meets the needs of the financial sector.
Speakers included Dr. Dorothy Maxwell, The Sustainable Business Group, Rosemary Bisset, National Australia Bank, Anders Norheim, UNEP FI/Natural Capital Declaration, Mardi McBrien, Climate Disclosures Standards Board, University of Tasmania, University of Melbourne and WWF.
